Mathieu Botte is an electron microscopist and biochemist by training. Since his PhD that he obtained from the EMBL-Grenoble, he is specialized in the structure determination of challenging membrane protein by cryo-electron microscopy. After a final post-doc at Roche in Basel (Switzerland), working on bacterial transporters, he joined in 2016 LeadXpro, a startup biotech in Switzerland specialized in membrane protein and structure based drug design. There, as a principal scientist he is the head of the electron microscopy department, and project leader for internal discovery as well as CRO-type projects.
