Dr Mihaly Varadi is the project leader of the Protein Data Bank in Europe - Knowledge Base (PDBe-KB) and the AlphaFold DB in the Velankar group at EMBL-EBI, Hinxton. He did his PhD at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in the field of intrinsically disordered proteins. He joined EMBL-EBI in 2015 as a scientific programmer and has been leading data enrichment and integration projects since 2019.
