The World Health Organization determines the main virus strains for the upcoming flu season many months in advance. From there, vaccine manufacturers are under tremendous time pressure to release a product in time for flu season. Sterility testing is a key bottleneck in the process and customers are often in a race to be first to market so that countries will purchase their vaccine over a competitor and, more importantly, deliver a vaccine on time that might mitigate the world health effects of the flu strain. We develop sterility testing products that help to reduce the process time needed to bring these vaccines to market. In order to properly diagnose various ailments, healthcare practitioners often test patient blood or urine samples to identify abnormal values.
