#Microbiotiful - A handbag
A handbag carries more than just personal items of ours: microorganisms. Take a look at what grew on our contact plate!
Experiment N. 02
Handbags are considered to be one of the grimmest places with respect to germs. Carried around much of the day, placed on the ground or on train seats, and often not regularly and thoroughly cleaned, handbags make it easy for microbes to get onto our hands. And from our hands, we spread them onwards—including into our own body when we rub our eyes, touch our mouth or other portals of entry for potential pathogens.
