Ever since Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, was founded 350 years ago, we have gained unmatched experience in the discovery, development and manufacturing of medicines.
On top of leveraging our experience and expertise, we also believe that a healthier future deserves a sizable investment. In 2018 our Healthcare business devoted roughly 20% of total sales to R&D activities aimed at discovering and developing new therapies. All of these are integrated in a global organization with six strategic locations and highly connected hubs: Darmstadt, Boston, Beijing, Tokyo, Bangalore, and Yavne.
